Witnessing  young Filipino people getting a lot more accustomed to speaking the foreign language, well most of the time - cross referencing tagalog & english words together in one sentence makes me think about what will happen to Tagalog language in the future.
That's why for this particular subject in my school's finals, I programmed this Flash game called Makatang Lasing. It's aim is to teach millennial student about deep Tagalog words in a way that they are having fun. Because we have to accept the fact that people's attention and interest span nowadays is too limited. That is why I believe that us, as multimedia artists need to put a lot more effort as the game goes beyond spoon feeding. Plus I have this little principle called, fun is the new serious.
It uses basic language, targetting these young people who talk like this.
Player will match which english word the tagalog word in the ball means
And if the player is correct, he'll get a point and proceeds to the next word.
Until he finishes all the words and finally gets the bragging rights of being a "makata" (poet)
Otherwise, the player's beer level elevates and the screen gets hazier and blurred as he gets drunker and drunker.
Until he loses.

I know the game is basic, but my intention is pointed towards my love of Filipino's sining. So I think I did a cutipie job here. Mabuhay tayo fams!
